Pendle vale college have been donated the use of a terraced house in Nelson. The house will be used as a creative space for students, teachers and artists to work together and express their personal responses to the local environment.
1st session at the house.The walls are covered with plastic sheeting so we can draw with marker pens without disturbing the MAGNOLIA. The boys were in a hurry to mess up the walls so without much ado i let them straight at it.They only had 40 mins.They caricatured themselves then looked at creating 3 central characters based on a composite if their drawings .This group will guide us around the community and feed into the monopoly based game we plan to devise. Feel free anyone to add to the drawings ,scribble comments...whatevers constructive.
